Job Description

 

The Nickelodeon Kids and Family Games group is looking for a results-driven Recruiter, with a background in the casual gaming space, who can hit the ground running with little ramp-up time.  This is a contract opportunity to join forces with the web's leading casual game sites.  This position reports to the Manager of Human Resources, and is located in San Francisco, CA.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruiting process by working closely with the client teams to develop a recruiting strategy and providing a "consultative approach" to recruiting.
  • Build captivating job descriptions with hiring teams.
  • Post, source and screen for both staff and non-staff jobs.
  • Ability to proactively and creatively source candidates via job boards, networking, referrals, and social media sources.
  • Arrange interviews, including travel arrangements, keeping managers and candidates apprised of status.
  • Maintain applicant tracking process.
  • Maintain job postings on internal site and external job boards.
  • Must be comfortable recruiting for all level positions.
  • Ability to sell company culture and our opportunities.

Job Requirements

 

  • Experience in casual gaming space.
  • 3+ years' proven track record in recruiting, with a strong focus on product management and engineering staff. In-house recruiting for a digital media company preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the online media industry and technologies, with emphasis on games and social media.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, creative, technical environment.
  • Strong sense of organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, proactively, and multitask.
  • Strong communication skills, including group skills, interpersonal skills, and writing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage through influence and negotiation.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Bachelors Degree required. HR knowledge a plus.
