Job Description

 

We are looking for an experienced FileMaker Developer who enjoys all aspects of the development cycle.  You will work closely with customers in many departments and at all levels of the organization to build systems that immediately fulfill the needs of our internal clients.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Working with a high degree of autonomy, design, implement and deploy FileMaker database solutions.
  • Meet with customers and management as necessary to define requirements for projects, and to maintain and improve existing databases.
  • Ability to quickly analyze business requirements and work iteratively with clients to achieve desired results.
  • Comfortable in working with management and other members of the IS team to create both short term and long term solutions in order to address customers immediate needs, as well as achieve ultimate goals and priorities.
  • Works with members of the IT team to design ideal server and security structure.
  • Creates reports as needed for customers or management.

Job Requirements

Bachelors degree and 2+ years experience working with FileMaker Pro

·       Ability to install and configure FileMaker Server Advanced; knowledge of ODBC access and custom web publishing.

·       Must be organized, attentive to detail, and incredibly service oriented

·       Able to delve into complex systems and develop a deep understanding and retention of the details

·       Candidate should be strongly motivated toward data accuracy and comfortable working with other members of the team to ensure data integrity

·       Excellent people skills and enjoyment of meeting with people in a variety of positions throughout the company

·       Must be able to juggle multiple projects and shifting priorities with ease

·       Experience with SQL, Oracle, HTML, CSS strongly desired

·       Specific experience with GUI design and usability testing a plus

·       PHP and XML knowledge a plus
