Description
HSS is looking for energetic and dedicated Food & Beverage Staff to join our team! We are currently hiring for several positions. Please see below. Candidates must have a friendly and professional demeanor, work well in a team, and be comfortable on their feet for several hours at a time.

Compensation:
The pay range for this position is $16-$20/hr. This range represents the minimum and maximum pay that Hospitality Staffing Solutions reasonably and in good faith believes it will pay for this role at the time of posting.

Job Responsibilities:
1. Preparation & Setup
- Ingredient Prep: Wash, chop, slice, peel, and mix ingredients according to prep lists.
- Station Setup: Set up and stock your assigned workstation with the necessary tools and ingredients before service begins.
- Quality Check: Verify the freshness and quality of ingredients before using them in dishes.
2. Cooking & Execution
- Recipe Adherence: Accurately follow standardized recipes, measuring and weighing ingredients precisely.
- Cooking Techniques: Utilize various cooking methods such as grilling, baking, frying, sautéing, and boiling to prepare food.
- Timing and Coordination: Coordinate with other kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel to ensure food is cooked and served promptly.
3. Food Safety & Storage
- Sanitation: Maintain a clean, sanitized work area throughout the shift, including cooking surfaces and utensils.
- Food Safety: Comply with local health and safety regulations, including proper handling, rotating, dating, and labeling of foods.
- Temperature Control: Store perishable items in refrigerators or freezers at correct temperatures to avoid spoilage.
4. Inventory & Cleanup
- Stock Monitoring: Track ingredient supplies, monitor inventory levels, and notify management of shortages or items to reorder.
- Shift Closing: Complete all end-of-shift closing duties, which include deep-cleaning stations, washing utensils, and properly securing leftover food.
